In case you didn't notice, the http://www.nasaproracing.com site has undergone a major redesign. Thanks go out to Manuel and Michelle of Symbolic Productions for the great new look. Please bear with us while the dust settles and we finish updating all of the pages to take advantage of the new style. You may notice some pages still with the old look; rest assured, we are on it. We hope you enjoy the new look!

Whoever redesigned the site did the same stupid thing that so many oblivious web designers do: specified the font sizes in pixels. As a result the text is so small the site is almost unusable on a 1600 x 1200 19" display.

I feel your pain. Can you Ctrl+scroll on the mouse to make it bigger?

The site was unfortunately designed for much smaller displays- as you can probably tell there's plenty of space on either side. It looks downright narrow on my widescreen LCDs.

All the designer needs to do is RESPECT MY SCREEN SETTINGS! Use relative font sizes instead of p { font-size: 11px; } It's not hard. It just takes a designer giving a damn about the users.

It's 200-freaking-6. If someone is designing web sites, or any software for that matter, for specific screen sizes, they're a boneheaded amateur. There is no "one size fits all" screen size. HTML and the Web were never intended for that. You can't have the level of control over a browser rendering that you have over a printed page.

Roger. Wilco. Definitely not aimed at you, Jim. As a professional software developer, it's one of my pet peeves.

Hmm, judging by your own Website, it seems to me that you could use some design and programming help yourself.
