To understand the music selection, you need to know how bad Hallett beat up the 30 car AI/CMC field:

3 broken clutches - (2 were mine, failing pilot bearing)
caved in driver side
smashed up front clip/hood/fenders
blown motor
timing chain guide failure (quickly developed into piston and valvetrain damage)
blown trans
blown and locked rear end
at least 1 cylinder - loss of compression
2 mustangs into /on top of tire walls
fried hub/bearing
busted power steering pump
overheating
and more...

I'll definitely be back next year! :D

Excellent video. The CMC / AI group romps out a great show. Gotta love those standing starts with 30+ cars!

TWO power steering pumps and our propane grill regulator went out ~ almost didn't get to have pancakes.

I don't like that GoPro looking back... makes my car look too small. 8) Maybe I'll just run The Duece next year.

Oh, and why did you brake check that guy at 0:53? ((I keed, i keed...))

"Give Me Somethin to Break!"
Since you explained it, I get it. It works.
But I don't know about the 2nd song choice.

I like 3:00, outbraking 2 car pass....nice.

Suprised no-one noticed me "building momentum" at 6:46.

I even practice it during DE's occationally.
