Clean title! Bought this car as a donor for our rental car program but plans have changed. Motor has been pulled already. Feel free to call me at the shop w/ questions at 256-309-0492 or email at parts@partsgroup.com . Car is located in Alabama just north of Barber Motorsports Park. Email me directly at above email for pictures.....

If the car was closer to me, I would have a buyer for you. Unfortunately, transport fees on an inoperable car are too high to justify.

This is very tempting. However, a non-running car is expensive to ship.

I can find a motor for $2500, but I don't know the condition of it. I can get a rebuilt motor for $7500, but then I have to get it to the car.

Either way, I have to get it put in the car. That's another chunk of change. There's shipping on the motor as well. We're looking at between 7 and 11 grand for the running car. For that price, I may as well get a running one, unless...

Have you done any of the prep work to get this to a SPBOX?

savowood,
Sorry this car doesn't suit you but $2300 for a roller is cheap!! Someone can put a motor in this for cheap and have a good start for a track car or race car.....I'm in the salvage business and motors are available for $2500 all day long....If this car doesn't fit the bill for you I also have a clean running driving 97 boxster available that is my weekend car I use to drive to our boat slip.......5 speed w/o dsc......Great condition and to clean to build into a race car for me but if interested $8500 Firm......Call the shop at 256-309-0492 if interested....

Sorry, and you're absolutely correct. I guess I was thinking out loud...or whatever you'd call that. Lamenting I am not closer and don't have the time or cash to turn this into a SPBOX. It's truly a very exciting series and likely to be the next '44 Cup. With rollers like this around, I can see the ranks growing quickly.

Tom,
Not trying to steal your thread, Savowood where are you located and what do you want? We have a few rollers now in VA.
Tom, give Thomas Blam a call in Atlanta. We sold them a built out roller earlier this year and they might be looking for a donor for another customer.
Good Luck

If you still have it in December bring it to the Santa's Toy Run - I would be very interested in it...
