The GoPro Hero2 has a clearer lens, better power management and some other little upgrades that allow better expansion. The real reason to consider the Hero2 is that some of the newer accessories offer more features on the Hero2 than the orig. One example is the WiFi Remote. With the orig it offers on-record-stop record-off. With the 2 it does all that but also offers wi-fi streaming and control by andriod and iphone devices also. Expect some of the newer/cooler accessories to be driven to the Hero2 only. The latest trend from our Traqmate users is to move the GoPro orig to the back or foot cam and use a Hero2 for the main video.
