Hello

I have a factory hardtop, was wondering if it is legal to run without a rear window, it is not available from the MFG, and would have to be made from lexan or something....

This is not a Miata by the way...

Go back and watch the above-referenced video again. And if you still want to run without a rear window, watch it again then google "Tage fire" and read the articles. Then watch the video again.
