Congrats on the 1st Place finishes, looks like the stang was running good :) Was that some gear grinding I heard at the start? Looks like a good weekend, wish I could have been there. Looking fwd to MO in a few weeks. Did you have the Porsche there?

Thanks!

It wasn't a grind but an odd moan. I looked down and it was in gear.

John wasn't able to make it due to travel.

Looking forward to Mido.

What tires you running on the stang Mike? I may have some new Nitto NT01's (275-35/18) up for sale, if it looks like I've found a new tire to run in the RR's.

265/40R19 Goodyear SuperCar G:2. Pretty much race rubber.

Well...the weekend isn't looking bad. Friday maybe some wet stuff, 50/50. Saturday looks good and so does Sunday with a 30% chance of storms. Overall, looks like a promising weekend weather wise with good temps as well. Need some good weather so I can run the RR tires hard to try and determine their life span. Been watching video's (Elliott Fisher) and reviewing apex's again.

Found a good write up on MO, "How to go fast at Mid-Ohio" By Scott Good, NASA GTS National Director, August 18, 2012. Talks you thru all the turns/apex's...good stuff.

I've already started my Duke F'n Wayne rain stare down.

RRs have a wide temp range.

I'll have my S197. We can go out for a few laps if you'd like as well and I can ride with you.
